Overview

Join us for an evening of sailboat racing rules and race management discussion. Informative and interactive, these classes will provide in depth discussion to refresh or advance your current knowledge. This year's instructor is Clark Chapin, Senior US Sailing Judge.

Attendees may wish to dine beforehand at PYC. If so, they should call ahead for reservations and plan on arriving by 6:00 PM.

Details

• The event is free to particpants and is open to both PYC members as well as club members from around the area. Start time is 7:30 pm
• Bring your own copy of The Racing Rule of Sailing 2009-2012 to the seminar. Current US Sailing members should already have a copy. To join US Sailing and receive a free copy or to purchase one from US Sailing, go to their website at http://www.ussailing.org/.
• It is also recommended that you bring one or both of the following books, which can be purchased at Midwest Sailing located directly across the street from the Portage Yacht Club:

  2) Paul Elvstrom Explains the Racing Rules 2009-2012 by Paul Evlstrom
